Bob always tells me I don't watch where I am going. He is right! I was holding my head up straight because my port hurt and was not watching my feet. In the parking lot, I tripped over the concrete thing that stops your car from rolling. I fell straight down and had my right arm and left palm hit the ground first to protect me. It scared me more than anything, with needles and chemo still going through me. Fortunately, I think I was ok. I found some scrapes this morning I did not even know were injured. I am a little sore in some places but no big deal. Here is the weird thing. The port hurts less. Maybe the jolt knocked it into or just enough out of place to end the pain. Anyway, I took a pain pill as I always do at night before I go to bed. I did not wake up and want one in the middle of the night nor have I had one yet today. Go figure!
I feel pretty good today. The medicine going through you makes you feel kind of "funny" but other wise I am fine. My cell service here is in and out so the only work I can do is email right now. So if you need me, send an email!

Geri: this is my very first attempt at "blogging" and hope this gets right to you. I have read your blog entries and am very impressed with you ability to handle this in typical Geri Rosemore-fashion. No wonder you have always been my Number One Girl! We love you here in Alabama and will see you soon. Rick. "y"
Geri, be careful...I fell the same way a few years ago and broke my wrist -still gives me fits and I lost a 80 pound sting-ray Sunday afternoon, I blame it on my weak wrist! Hope you feel well and can get to Destin soon.....miss you...going to Auburn Vet Clinic Monday to take the dog, has a bad leg....take care and know I love you and you are in my thoughts always....Jamie
