It's always something

Bob always tells me I don't watch where I am going. He is right! I was holding my head up straight because my port hurt and was not watching my feet. In the parking lot, I tripped over the concrete thing that stops your car from rolling. I fell straight down and had my right arm and left palm hit the ground first to protect me. It scared me more than anything, with needles and chemo still going through me. Fortunately, I think I was ok. I found some scrapes this morning I did not even know were injured. I am a little sore in some places but no big deal. Here is the weird thing. The port hurts less. Maybe the jolt knocked it into or just enough out of place to end the pain. Anyway, I took a pain pill as I always do at night before I go to bed. I did not wake up and want one in the middle of the night nor have I had one yet today. Go figure!

I feel pretty good today. The medicine going through you makes you feel kind of "funny" but other wise I am fine. My cell service here is in and out so the only work I can do is email right now. So if you need me, send an email!

Tuesday 6th

Made it through Day 1 of chemo pretty easily. Even got a lot or work emails done and today I am going to do some auto and homeowers quoting. It is good therapy to keep to me busy and good for business too. After good news on the chest scans yesterday, I am up for anything. We will check out the Lymph nodes in a PET scan next Monday. Friend Mitzi (in picture), sister Sydney, and friend Susan are in shifts babysitting me today. I got my private room in the chemo ward again today. You have to get here early to get the prime spots, but I am the only 4 day patient they have this week. More later.
